Reading Logs should be kept up in the agenda. I've decided to make them due signed on Thursdays. That way you have the weekend to catch up on reading and filling in the days and getting them initialed.
Please save your pizza boxes. Please clean them out and take off the lids - save the lids too. They would be ideal for making the salt maps of North America. You can send extras to school for other children to use.
I will get Ms. Ariss to put the guidelines on the blog in case your child loses his/hers. Maps are readily available online but I am giving each child a map. Also, they will have a chance in class to use the overhead projector to trace a larger map into their pizza box or larger piece of paper. The due date will be extended to Jan. 18. Both Ms. Wallace and Ms. Crawford are doing this project.
